I’m Kevin Sawyer. I’m based in the Lake Tahoe area but travel everywhere—I’m very much a destination photographer! I have always been fascinated by the camera and fell in love with capturing special moments in a creative way. I approach every session, whether it be a canine session or a full-day wedding, with a photojournalistic approach. My goal is to capture true moments in an artistic and original style while you, the client, are comfortable simply being yourself.

I’m recognized internationally by some of the world’s top organizations and have won numerous awards. I’m honored to be ranked as top 25 photographers in WPJA’s 2018’ Artistic Portraits.

When I am not capturing other’s special moments, I love to explore Nevada’s vast and breathtaking wilderness and capture my own amazing moments with my beautiful wife and two goofy pups, Lula and Opie.
