toys, food, funny sounds, rubs, praise, etc
Please explain anything I should know about that makes you uncomfortable so I can make your photo session as stress-free and fun as possible.
With a pup’s truly other-worldly ability to pay attention to anything and everything but us, it’s important that we set ourselves up for success and keep the photo session fun and safe. A pup’s favorite toys, noises, snacks, and constant praise are fantastic ways to keep that attention on us instead of a squirrel minding its business or a random wind-blown leaf (our pup, Opie, loves being distracted by random wind-blown leaves).
Due to many pups having allergies and dietary restrictions, I ask that as Samish’s human, you please bring his favorite snacks and toys with you. Make sure snacks are soft and have been broken into small training-sized portions so they’re easy to gobble up.
Once on location, please give me all the treats, toys, and sounds you brought for Samish so I can transform into the ultimate distraction master. I have a few tricks up my sleeve in capturing a pup’s attention but would also like to know if there are any keywords or noises you use with Samish that could help with the session. We want his attention on me by making me the carrier of all his favorite things!
I’m stoked to work with you and Samish. It will be an amazing session capturing Samish and his overall Samish-ness!
